The School Bell is a mechanic that is used against the player in the School map of Eyes.

Mechanic:[]

In-game, every so often a bell can be heard ringing, and after ringing, all the doors (With the exception of the Exits) in the School will open, leaving the player vulnerable for the enemies to enter the rooms, and kill the player.

Around the main floor of the School is the bells, and a clock that is set as a timer, whereas the hand on the clock will reach the "red zone" of the clock, which will then ring.

Once the hand is no longer in the red zone of the clock, the bell will ring again and the doors will close. This cycle repeats until the end of the game.

Totems:[]

"Clever witchcraft devices will inflict curses upon contact. Avoid or try to destroy."

The Totems are a mechanic that is used against the player if they choose Ursula as the enemy.

Mechanic:[]

In-game, there are very few totems in certain spots of the map. If the player comes in contact with one, the Totem will stop the player in their tracks. The only way the player can escape is if they have the clockwise-turning arrow point at the green-colored bar in order to escape. If the player fails to do so, they will become dizzy for a short period of time. The player can simply go around the Totem to avoid getting stuck, but it's not easy to do on certain parts of the map, especially if Ursula is chasing the player.
